Techfem & LABME Innovations @ OMC 2017

On the third and last day of the thirteenth edition of the OMC, Techfem S.p.A. It will host on its stand 5J23 the Start-Up LABME INNOVATIONS.

LABME Innovations is an innovative startup that operates in the safety sector, in particular the applications to working sites. LABME designs and develops Smart PPE and innovative solutions in order to protect the worker, encourage the use of personal protective equipment and increase the level of safety. The current personal protective equipment (PPE) have some limitations:
– The PPE aren’t interactive
– The safety equipment are passive
– They aren’t always worn
In order to overcome these limitations LABME developed the concept of innovative devices satisfying these needs: the Smart PPE. In particular Smart Harness is one of the new devices developed within this project, an harness able to monitor and store the effective and correct use of the device, the vital and environmental parameters as a true “black box”. Smart Harness is enabled to send emergency request in case of accident, to be interconnected with other PPE or networks of safety management system implemented in the workplace and to manage through an APP plus Cloud platform the information concerning the device itself acting as a real digital booklet PPE.
