Yesterday, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, we received the ELITE Corporate Governance Certificate, an important recognition for companies that adopt best practices for private small and medium enterprises. The certificate was awarded based on requirements defined by ELITE in collaboration with academic and business partners in the field of Corporate Governance.
“Our company, since the beginning, has translated the philosophy and values set by its founders into its business model, successfully differentiating our products and services from competitors,” said Federico Ferrini, CEO of Techfem. “As we grew, our structure as a family-owned company naturally evolved into a more structured organizational model, where the adoption of ESG criteria in defining development strategies and business objectives fit seamlessly. For years, we have dedicated our best intellectual resources to developing projects with stakeholders in the territories where we operate, leaving a positive impact on the environment and society. We strongly believe that business continuity and value creation are primarily founded on a robust system of corporate governance, characterized by structured decision-making processes that prioritize the protection of our people and all our stakeholders. Receiving this prestigious recognition from ELITE is a significant confirmation of the value of our ambitious journey and the foresighted and courageous choices we have made.”
The mission of ELITE, launched by Borsa Italiana in 2012, is to support companies in achieving sustainable long-term growth by accelerating access to capital, skills, and networking opportunities. ELITE combines a calendar of workshops and coaching sessions with a range of services and solutions provided by a qualified network of partners and advisors, helping entrepreneurs and executives enhance their skills and strengthen their strategic plans and business opportunities.
Marta Testi, CEO of ELITE:
“We are delighted to award Techfem the Corporate Governance Certificate. The third letter in the ESG acronym, which has become a key focus for all virtuous SMEs, emphasizes the concept of Governance: no sustainable company can exist without placing corporate governance at its core. Today, governance is fundamental not only for a company’s development but also for attracting market interest to achieve sustainable growth and gain a competitive advantage.”
