We have recently completed an innovative turnkey project.
This project involved the creation of a mobile skid-mounted experimental facility dedicated to regeneration of CO2 solid sorbent via a dolomite calcination process at 900 °C.
The client for this initiative were the ENEA Research Center in Rome, within its Department for Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources, and Consortium CALEF. The prototype has been installed in the ECCSEL research infrastructure ZECOMIX (Zero Emissions of Carbon with MIXed technologies).
This collaboration marks a significant step toward our shared goal of reducing CO2 emissions. Within the scope of this project, we focused on capturing CO2 generated from industrial calcination processes with the aim of producing inert materials for use in sectors such as the cement industry.
Here are some photos of the pilot plant that has been tested and installed at the ENEA site in Rome.
