We develop Pipeline Integrity Management studies on onshore/offshore pipelines. Based on inspection data from different technologies (Pigging or In line inspection, ROV), we perform structural integrity analysis to verify the resistance of a pipeline in the presence of anomalies such as corrosion defects, mechanical damage, cracks, free span, according to the main regulations in force.
We also carry out corrosion studies for the assessment of internal corrosion rate and risk-based inspection and maintenance plans for future asset management (Risk based assessment). For pipelines that have run out of design life, we perform all the assessments necessary for the life extension.
We provide design and installation services of monitoring systems of various kinds with focus on new technologies such as fiber optic systems with FBG sensors for the monitoring of deformations induced by landslides and similar phenomena. We provide assistance for remote data analysis and integrity assessment with the possibility of integrating field data with stress analysis studies.
For data management and analysis execution, we have an integrated management system developed specifically to have a unique platform able to manage the data flow connected to an asset.
As part of the life cycle of an Asset we also consider its Decommissioning, that is, the phase in which the pipeline or plant are no longer suitable for operation and therefore require specific actions for safety. We therefore provide engineering services for the correct selection of remediation, demolition or in situ maintenance procedures, with assessment of intervention costs.
We develop feasibility projects to create new installations integrated into the structure of existing but no longer operational assets, thus giving life to the Recommissioning operation. This allows to exploit the value of the residual capacity of the asset, changing its intended use and giving new life to plants/ structures that would alternatively be demolished.
